STAMPS OF MEDJUGORJE
Hrvatška post Mostar began working in 1993 as a part of the HPT company (Croatian post and telecommunications), but since January 2003 has been active as an independent postal administration – Croatian post Ltd Mostar. It issued its first postage stamp commemorating Medjugorje on May 12, 1993. Designed by Ivica Šiško, a professor of Zagreb’s Academy of Fine Arts, the stamp had a nominal value of 2000 Croatian dinars.
